Artist Biography

Shams Al-Din Atallah Ibrahim Jobran is a Palestinian visual artist, art instructor, and maker based in Idhna, Hebron Governorate, Palestine. Holding a Bachelor's degree in English Language Education, Jobran seamlessly combines pedagogical expertise with a prolific, multi-medium visual practice. With an extensive artistic output exceeding 500 artworks, Jobran specializes in resin art, glass painting, glass calligraphy, and large-scale educational murals across local schools and institutions. Jobran is a Member of the Haneen Fine Arts Association.

Since 2023, Jobran has actively contributed to the regional and virtual Palestinian art scenes. Key exhibitions include Eyes of Jerusalem (عيون القدس, May 2023), Palestinian Tales (حكايات فلسطينية, July 2023), Touches of Jenin (لمسات جنين, July 2024), From Jerusalem to Hebron (من القدس الى الخليل, August 2024), and the international virtual exhibitions Colors of the World (ألوان العالم 1 & 2, August 2025 and February 2026). Beyond personal studio work—which boasts over 500 original pieces—Jobran actively enriches community spaces through school murals and educational display boards, ensuring art remains an active, inspiring presence in daily Palestinian life.

*"Art is both an educational bridge and a tactile reflection of our shared heritage. My practice is centered on pushing the boundaries of medium—combining fluid resin techniques with canvas painting, calligraphy on glass, and public mural work.

Wounded Phoenix
